Black Friday Sale Preview (and One Last Poll)

As promised last week, we’ve used your thousands of survey responses to narrow the field of items that will be featured in this weekend’s Black Friday Sale and launched one final poll that lets you help decide on a few very specific deals involving highly sought-after items. While you’re here, you can preview some of the items that might be involved in the sale. We’re not letting the cat completely out of the bag, but the small guide below will give you a glimpse into what to expect starting Friday at 5 a.m. Central Time (3 a.m. Pacific Time).

Black Friday Sale: Vote On Gear, Hats, Packages

With Black Friday right around the corner, we thought now would be a perfect opportunity for you to be vocal about the types of gear and hats you’d like to see featured during this year’s sale. We encourage you to take this survey and let us know which items you’re dying to get your hands on.

We’ll tally all the responses over the weekend, and we’ll share the results with you early next week in the form of a new poll featuring the items with the highest amounts of votes. We’re planning on rolling out some killer deals–you’ll know more as Black Friday draws closer. For now, please fill out our brief survey and be vocal in the comments below.

Bright Friday Sale Starts Bright and Early Tomorrow

You’ve heard of Black Friday – you know, that late-November day when everyone buys everything. But have you heard of Bright Friday? Probably not – because we just invented it! Starting tomorrow, November 15th, we’re kicking off our Bright Friday sale, and it promises a vast selection of light and brightly colored virtual goods throughout the entire weekend.

We’ll be launching into Bright Friday early tomorrow morning with a brand-new limited item. We have a lot more than that in the works, of course: at least 10 new items, eight user-created retextures of existing items, a smattering of limiteds, and discounts on a bunch of items that just happen to be in the “bright” theme. You can see some of the items that’ll be involved in the sale – a neon shaggy and a blindingly bright version of Mr. Tentacles, to name a couple – by looking closely at the above image. (Click on it to expand it.) Aside from that, you’ll have to keep your eyes on the catalog to see what drops when.

Labor Day Weekend Sale Runs This Friday Through Monday

Monday is Labor Day, and we can think of no better way to celebrate than a sale! Throughout the weekend, we’ll be debuting new items, putting certain items on sale, publishing community-created re-textures, temporarily bringing back offsale items, and more! The sale starts Friday, but today we decided to preview some of the items that will be featured. The items in this article are only a small portion of the total available items during the sale, so be sure to keep your eye on the catalog to take advantage of all the great deals! The Labor Day Weekend Sale will begin Friday, August 30th, and run through Monday, September 2nd.

A Mid-Summer Night’s Sale Starts Friday

For those living in the northern hemisphere, June 21st is the summer solstice and longest day of the year. If you happen to be waaaay up in the northern hemisphere’s Arctic Circle, this day is so long that the sun lights the sky for a full 24 hours. To celebrate this awesome phenomenon, we’re hosting an all-night (or day, depending on where you live in the world) sale of summer and midnight-themed gear, hats, and more!

You can expect to see sale items roll out one by one, starting at 9 p.m. Pacific Time, and all throughout the night. We recommend you follow @ROBLOX on Twitter for tips as to when a new item is about to release, and keep a close eye on the catalog.
