Fame and Glory! Help Us Design Our ROBLOX Studio Splash Screen

We’re in need of some graphic designers! That’s right, if you’re proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, GIMP, Paint, or any other design/art software, we have a project for you. We need a new splash screen for ROBLOX Studio, and like nearly all facets of our platform, we thought it’d be cool to ask you to build one! How would you artistically represent your experience with Studio?

We’re looking for images that are no larger than 600 x 300 pixels in PNG format. We’ll provide you with a few standard PNG files to get started–you only have to use one form of a ROBLOX logo, and it can be as small or big as you’d like. Also, make sure that somewhere in your graphic you have the word “Studio”. Outside of that, we aren’t keen on setting a lot of rules with this contest–design what personifies Studio to you, and be as creative as you’d like!

In the coming week we’ll be digging through submissions, which you can send here: [email protected]. The winning splash screen will be visible every time you, or any other player for that matter, loads ROBLOX Studio. We’ll also pay out 20,000 Robux to each of the top five entries! This is your chance to work for ROBLOX for a day (or however long it takes you to make your graphic), and potentially earn money doing it. Keep in mind, you can send in as many submissions as you’d like.

So don’t hold back! We’ll be sorting through all of your entries over the next couple of weeks–we’ll be keeping an eye out for ingenuity, originality and composition. Your deadline is Tuesday, January 22nd at 11:59 PM PST.

Every entry has a chance to win the prizes, but not all entries will win. Your entries become the property of ROBLOX, Corp. We reserve the right to use your entry in other media forms, including online and print. ROBLOX may edit, alter, copy, exhibit, or distribute your entry for any purpose. We may ask you to edit the entry to attain the desired splash screen result. There will not be any royalties or other compensation arising from the use of the entry beyond the prizes specified in this post and acknowledgement in the credits. If your graphic is a group effort, make sure you have indicated in your e-mail submission who the creators are, and we will split the 20K Robux equally among everyone involved.
