ROBLOX Game Conference 2012: Pro-tips and Preparation

RGC 2012 LogoIt’s almost here. ROBLOX Game Conference 2012 is tomorrow. The doors open at 9 a.m. sharp. Here are a few pro-tips for making the most of the event, and some shots of our in-progress set-up.

Bring a laptop for the Hackathon

For those of you who are attending and participating in the first-ever ROBLOX Hackathon, don’t forget to bring your laptop. We’ll provide the internet access and, of course, a bunch of scripting and building challenges, ranging from everyday problem-solving to bona fide brain-melters. Want to how the Hackathon will work? Check out this video.

ROBLOX Game Conference MapMap out your day

We unveiled the full schedule for RGC 2012 a couple weeks back. Take a few minutes tonight or tomorrow morning to decide what events are must-sees for you so you don’t miss anything important.

Explore

We have a lot of area to cover — the main stage, the Hackathon, the R&D lab, user feedback sessions and, somehow, more. If you find yourself without a committment for any given moment, venture into a zone you haven’t yet visited.

And, as always, stay hydrated.

We’re setting up for ROBLOX Game Conference 2012 right now. Here’s an inside look at how it’s coming along, from the camera of Creative Director John Shedletsky. (Magnificently, I say.)
