While many were enjoying chestnuts roasting on an open fire (well, not here in the Bay Area, thanks to the nightly Spare the Air alerts), our dev team took advantage of the Holiday break by participating in our first-ever Hack Week.
What’s Hack Week, you ask?
It’s the opportunity for our illustrious developers to work on anything they wanted to over the break for the sole purpose of improving what our ROBLOX fans see and use in the not-too-distant future. While Hack Week wasn’t a competition, per se, the devs did want to wow their fellow colleagues with their presentations and get the room buzzing about what’s in store for ROBLOX. More importantly, it was their chance to share their demos and how they strengthen our mission of allowing anyone in the world to create and play amazing 3D games.
And the demos didn’t disappoint, to say the least.
